Calendar for On Call Rota Problem

Hello,

I need to create an on call shift based rota system for 3 people in a 4 person team. The problem is that I have 4 in my team and 1 person has opted out not to be on-call. Also we have a daily shift basis of 2 people on early fom 8 - 5, the one mid 9 -6 and one late shift 10 - 6:30. So we want the person on mids and lates to be on call but we need to be able to miss out the one person that is also on the shift rota but not doing the on call.

e.g.

Lets call them (J)ack (S)teven (A)ndrew (N)ick - Andrew is not included on the on-call

This week:

J - Lates
S - Early
A - Early
N - Mid

So i need one person from the mid and lates to be on call every week and miss out Andrew. Any help would be appreciated and how would i input and colur code this into a calendar.

Perhaps you could use the excel add-in Solver?

I've set up a small solver model, have a look and see if this could be of help to you.
