    Easy Count of Fields

Hi, I'm currently looking for some help with understanding or attempting to summarize this data.

I need to be able to break it down by Employee Name(sdadmin), date it was created(created), and obtain a count of how many ticket numbers(mainid) that were made on that day.

The stats that I need to track are how many times does the person, appear with a ticket attached. I also need to remove any duplicated entries and obtain a count of those.

This maybe a bit too much to have it easily done. I get this report weekly and want to summarize it quickly.

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look here for some reading on grouping.

    http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot07.html

Basically you are going to click on the pivot table >> right click on the row labels and select group.

In the next dialogue box you should see months highlighted. Click on days and then with the ctrl button pressed click on hours or whatever fits your needs.
