Hello everyone,

I am a complete newby to Excel. I am in need of some assistance in finding something that will help with my data entry. Is there a way template or something that will allow me to add line to my row down, with out having to search for the right column across?

something like..

line 1 = column/row you want updated
line 2 = data you want added to column/row

and it automatically add that info with out adding a new column to the entire spreadsheet?

Please take the time to review our rules. There aren't many, and they are all important. Our cardinal rule is to have good thread titles. I would recommend you use a title like, "In need of a method to simplify data entry". I'm sorry but I don't really understand your question or I could help more with the title. It would help if you created a file that showed how you want to enter your data, and then what you want it to look like after you do it. Please update your title before continuing.
