Filter cell contain certain date

How to filter contain "4/4/2011" with a cell value "4/4/2011 11:28:02 AM" ...?
i cant filter it.

Are you mistaking filter for format? if so........

Format cells type

dd/mm/yyyy h:mm:ss AM/PM

=TEXT(A2,"dd/mm/yy") then filter that

is it real date/ time or is it text day /time? if you change one of the cells with date /time in to general what does it show?
