Need to get rid of the virtual Apostrophe

What I have in a virtual apostrophe. You only see it when you click on the cell. You don't see it when the cell is not click on. I can delete it one cell at time but I want to delete it in mass. (I have data range from A:1 to T:1385) The find and replace or the match cell commands do work in deleting it. The data came from AutoCAD "data extraction" dump. See the attached file partial

First of all what is it or what is it called, so I can reference help in the future? (I have to go through this once or twice a year) and how or what can I use to delete it in mass.
