Collating data from multiple sheets

I have a summary sheet that i want to collect data from multiple sheets depending on criteria.

The multiple sheets have contractors pay amounts which i want to source by date to show the total amount we need to pay on any given day.

i have tried so many different formulas to which i havent come up with a suitable answer as i dont really understand the various formulas suggested to me.

i have attached a copy of the spreadsheet and would really appreciate if someone could finally resolve this for me.
