    table alternate row shading failing

One of my tables has lost it's alternate row shading. That is, when filtered, or when you add a new record, it does not stay alternated. I've had this happen before, and the remedy was to convert it to a range, and then back to a table again. With this one, however, this doesn't work. I remember this condition as being a precursor of other bad things to follow. Does anybody know the cure for this?

What version of XL are you using? Early versions didn't support Table formatting. Then see if you have any blank rows or columns in your Table/List as this would keep it from being a true table. How about column head names that are the same? This may also hurt some Table calculations.

When you add data, do you insert a row or add it on to the bottom of your data?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
