Pivot Table; adding rows to complete a sequence

    So here's my questions:
I have a pivot table (Excel 2007), simple enough, rows = Age of a person, columns = series of traits.

Now, in doing up annual reports, I want them all to look the same, so the Age rows range from 0 - 24. Problem: in any given year, my data set does not include all ages from 1 to 24, so the pivot table has gaps:

    Age
    0
    1
    2
    4
    7
    8
    9...

How do I fill in these gaps (i.e. add a row "3", "5", "6", etc.) to show blank rows, when they don't exist in the data set?

I hope this makes sense, thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

    *Bump

Likely it's as easy as a box I haven't checked somewhere, and I'm just not seeing it. Really hoping someone can help me out here.

    Thanks.

    Hi gyrfalcom09,
I think you understand the problem. I've had similar cases where I needed to add fake and blank data to insure all rows were accounted for. This is my solution.

Add all possible ages for each group you need.

I hope you understand this answer.

BTW - there are other Pivot Table check boxes that keep the column width set but none that fills in blank data. You need to add these "fill-in" records to your data.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

That's what I figured, but was hoping otherwise.

    Thanks for the response.
