    Cannot copy large data set

    Hello,
I have an excel spreadsheet with well over 105,000 records. I need to copy specific rows with a specific tag. Simple enough. I just use the filter at the column, select the tag and I have the data I need to copy. However, after I copy the data I get the error indicating the data selection is too complex (see attachment).
The only way around this is I have to manually delete small sections of rows at a time which is exceptionally time consuming.
Can anyone suggest a work around for this?
    Much appreciated,
    Nathan

    Here's a work around
Make a copy of the sheet and then filter on everything but what you want to move. Then delete all visible rows leaving a single continguous set that you can copy to where you want. Does that work for you?

Your response actually gave me another idea. I sorted everything in order of the specific column that i wanted. Then I filtered out the tag I was looking for and was able to copy and paste unto another worksheet. Many thanks for responding.
