Original Sheet: I foolishly made a spreadsheet which tracks names & dates in only 27 rows. (A) is the name, (B) is the date [d:m], (C) is blank. The date is in text format. This same pattern follows through to column GZ.

My goal is to find to the easiest way possible to populate my new Destination Sheet with as much information as possible from my original sheet.

I realize this will likely require a new formula for each every 3rd column A through GZ. I assume this will take a lot of error checking as well. Anything has to be better than copying & pasting every cell!

I would like my Destination Sheet to pull from my original sheet: IF (1-1) populate the name (1 cell to the left), IF (2-2), so on and so forth. This is not perfect, when years change it will get a bit more complex, but I can spot check some. For now I’d like an easy way to populate as many of the cells in the new sheet as possible. I started copying and pasting this, it's taking a really long time... Certainly there has to be an easier shortcut I'm figuring out? ehh?

Obviously there will be a lot of blanks. There was never a name for each date. If at all possible it would be nice if the blanks read ‘-‘.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I started this sheet in 2001 when I was brand new to Excel. I should remake it, but if I can pull from what I have that would save me a lot of time!

Note: this is a really bad way to make spreadsheet.
