Help!
As noted above I turned on my PC this morning and all my spreadsheets now have columns with numbers instead of letters. This has caused some of the formulas to go berserk. Anybody know how I can change the column headings back?![]()

Hi eisman
Welcome to the forum , this seams to be happing a lot . you will have to change the files setting by looking in thecommanad bar and selecting
file>options>Formulas
Uncheck R1C1 reference style
Pike;
Thanks for the assist.
Now, I'm feeling kind of stupid, because I cannot find that selection/option. Is is under a specific tab? This is driving me nuts, because it's obviously something in a place I don't use and I do formulas and spreadsheet daily.
hmmm.. Im not using 2003 but it should be the top first upper right select "File"
then in that dropdown find "Options" ect... it will be in the setting some where your looking for R1C1
Pike;
I'm in 2007; if it was 2003 it would be easier.
But thanks again; you gave me a reference that I could work from. I really hate the "buttons/tabs" approach MS seems to dumb down to.
Got it fixed, and made notes for the rest of my crew in case they get stuck.
Kevin
Dude you should change your profile something like to 2007 home 2003 work
Glad to hear you found it
