Arrow How to add joining lines between points in an XYplot

I have some points plotted on an XY graph (see attached example on the left) and would like to add lines joining the points as shown on the example on the right.
Any suggestions how to do so? How can I fill the area?

In excel 2007 we have Radar graphs, is it possible to turn/rotate them? The example on the right is from a radar graph, but it is rotated 45 degrees, while the example on the left is from an XY plot.

    Your help is greatly appreciated,

You can add a line to the series but you will need to change the order and repeat point A in order to draw a polygon.

    To fill the area see

    Thanks for your suggestion!
Attached is a file showing your proposed solution for the lines.
For this, I repeated the first point (A) and changed the order of the C and D points to form the figure (otherwise the sides would cross).
Now, what would you suggest to fill the area? The same link you sent with VB?
What about my question regarding Excel 2007 ... is it possible to rotate the radar graphs? (shown on the right of the attached file) without recurring to a jpeg rotation.

Thanks again. I will click on the scale to recognize your input and change the status to solved later on.

You can not rotate the radar chart, like you can the donut or pie.

You can rotate your data points, added some #na() points to plot between know points. The complex part is calculating the start value. This will require some trig, which we shall have to google for.

Re: How to add joining lines between points in an XYplot

So I have done my math homework and determined how to calculate the start value based on the lengths of A and B.

Hopefully you can follow the formula and diagram in the attached.
