Linking List While Excluding Blanks

I have a task that has proven to be somewhat difficult.

I need to link an inventory sheet and a purchase order sheet so that whenever a quanity is entered in the Quanity column of the inventory sheet, that row of information (that the quanity is entered in) is inputed into the purcahse order (on a seperate sheet) automatically and all blanks rows are not inserted.



I'm trying to explain this the best I can and I haven't been able to find any help so far.

Please help or point me in the right direction!

One of the attached is the inventory speadsheet and the other is the purchase order.

Whenever a value is entered for Quanity on the inventory spreadsheet, I need that row to be inserted into the purchase order without including all the blank rows.

I dont quite understand the set up here but is this what you are looking for? Also I recommend not merging cells - it really causes in pain when trying to input formulas.

The set-up and merged cells are not my doing. I was just given this worksheet and told to work off of it.

But what I saw is somewhat of what I want. I know what I'm asking for is unclear and all help is really appreciated.

Would you be able to explain what you did?

Yes I did a Vlookup to return the value from the inventory spreadsheet - the IFERROR was used to leave the cell blank if no data was returned.
