Creating a cost based on a date range.

    Hi,

    My problem is this...

I wish to create a form where a user enters a date range (a Start and End date) and the form details a cost of the users stay. However I can not think of a simple and elegant way of doing this other than creating a calendar however this wont always work thanks to leap years!

I would provide an example but I still can't figure out how best to create this form!

Also I should mention that there will be periods of time where the cost is different due to peak times.

    Any ideas??

=(End date - Start date) * Daily rate, maybe?

If you have different rates for weekends, or whatever, you will need to calculate weekdays and weekend days and multiply them by the appropriate values.

You maybe need to think about the rules you need to apply and create a basic worksheet before you start complicating matters.
