    What are the data connections in my Excel file

    Hello Friends,

    I have an excel workbook with multiple tabs and a macros. Every time I open the file, it gives me notifications about the macro (which is fine) and data connections.

    I have not created any data connections apart from referencing cells in multiple tabs withing the workbook.

    Please help me find a way to figure out what are the data connections that excel is referring to.

    Thank you.

    Have you tried: Data - Existing connections (in the Get External Data section)

    or you can hit the F1 key and in the search box type data connections

    At the bottom of that result click on:

    Manage connections by using the Workbook Connections dialog box

    Thank you for the response Cutter. When I go to Data - Existing connections I see
    Connections on this workbook
    <No Connections Found>

    I have not added any external connections and it says that there are no connections. So why does excel give me a Security warning that data connections have been blocked and how can I stop this.

    Thank you

    Have a read through this:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...010065176.aspx

    Notice in the image of the Security Alert that the data connection is identified.
    Check yours to see what connection is being blocked and maybe it will jog your memory about something you have added (possibly in your macro(s)).
