i have a v lookup forumal which is correct as it seems to work on rows 1 and 2 but from 3 onwards it reads #N/A
Can anyone help?
I havent a clue what im doing worong?

Are there exact matches for those items? Check for extra spaces, etc.. and if they are supposed to be numbers, check that they are not in fact text entries that look like numbers.

It means a $ sign before row and cell symbol like $a$1 ( also see XL help)
