Formating duplicate data where it is dependent on another cell...

I'm currently formating a document for a telemarketer who will have data added onto an existing spreadsheet each week. While it's easy enough to use conditional formating to find duplicates when I add new data, I want to highlight the duplicate phone numbers that are that are also marked as contacted... That is, I only want to highlight duplicate numbers that have been contacted.

This is a little mock-up of what I want...

    Phone Contacted?
    55 555 555*** Yes
    56 555 555 No
    57 555 555 No
    58 555 555 Yes
    59 555 555 No
    60 555 555 No
    61 555 555 Yes
    62 555 555 Yes
    63 555 555*** Yes
    64 555 555
    65 555 555
    66 555 555
    67 555 555
    55 555 555***
    56 555 555
    57 555 555
    65 555 555
    63 555 555***

(where *** signifies some sort of formating; be it font or background)

    Thanks in advance.

    Kieron.

add IF="yes" to the formula you're using for duplicates and you should be able to screen out the contacted numbers.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I'm afraid I don't understand 100% though. At the moment I'm just using conditional formating to highlight any duplicates. But rather than do that, I just want to highlight the duplicates for phone numbers I've been in touch with.

Could you give me more detail with this in mind?

    Thanks.
