workbook is stuck out of view!!

The attached pic should help in the explanation. My data is stuck at the bottom of my screen as if it was another open window. I don't know how it happened or how to fix it. I tried simply dragging it but that doesn't work, and I don;t know what setting to change to fix it. Can someone please help me?? Thank you!!

Hi dumaser88 and welcome to the forum.

    Try these.

Double click on the top of your spreadsheet that is out of view.
Or click and drag it back into view using the top of the spreadsheet.

Also try the shortcut keys of Alt +W +A

tried your suggestions but still no luck

the top of the sheet partially in view stays grayed out and will not allow me to select it or drag or click on it in any way.......

re: workbook is stuck out of view!!

that didn't work either..... I'm thinking all hope is lost.....
If I switch to full screen mode, I can see enough of the screen to use the arrow to view a little more of the data, but I still cannot get back to the normal view or even see the bottom section to switch between workbooks. I'm getting desperate lol
If anyone would be willing I will even email you the damaged file if you think it can be saved. It's nothing but a work schedule and has no personal info.... any takers?

Click on Go Advanced below the message area and then on the Paper Clip Icon above the message area to attach a file. Let us look. Maybe you'll teach us something.

in "window" on the tool bar did you select the workbook you want to get? did you try arrow up? alt - should show the move /size/minimise/maximise/close window
m just selects the move option, arrow moves the window

The workbook has the Structure and Window protected.

Using the ribbon, Review > Changes > Protect Workbook > Protect Structre and Window.

You will of course need the password.

    Opened it with Open Office?
That would be the non-microsoft product?

I think it had workbook security on and the OP just needed the workbook protect password to deal with it.

Re: workbook is stuck out of view!!

This resolution assumes it is just ONE corrupt workbook but ALL my workbooks are doing this same thing. Are you telling me that instead of using excel which i pay for monthly i must now use a Free Access product instead to fix this problem?
