Dont understand the answer - Excel 2010's Evolutionary Solver

    Hi,
I am have used the following tutorial (http://www.easyexceltutorial.com/excel-solver.html) to create a solver answer.

When I run the solver using SimplexLP I get an answer of 25600
When I run it using the Evolutionary solver I get 2.565E+64

How could I get the evolutionary's answer into something that makes sense. If I convert it to a Number it comes out as 2565 with 60 or so zeros behind this. I dont understand how it can be so different to the Simplex's answer. And if so is there I way I can get it or convert it to spit out something more like 25650?

    Thanks

    Hi gr101,

    Read http://www.solver.com/suppstdsolver.htm for more information.

Solvers us repetitive methods to arrive at their answers. Sometimes the old solver couldn't give an answer if the first guess was too far from the correct answer.

This topic in math is call convergence/divergence. I'm suprised the solver gives different answers but think something else is going on besides what you are suggesting.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
