    Shift Graphs

    Hi all,

You guys helped me a ton with my last post so I thought I would try again.

I was able to make the shifting graphs as I call them. My issue is that the graphs show the data wrong. They are two months behind. For example the Label of March is right but it shoudl January's data.

I have attached the xls so hopefully someone can shed some light.Call Stats 2011.xls

    Re: Shift Graphs part II

Your series are only reference the data category labels via named ranges.
The data values are explict range references.

You need to add named ranges for the data you are trying to plot.

    Re: Shift Graphs part II

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the response. Would you be able to show me an example of what you are talking about? I am still fairly new to this.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Re: Shift Graphs

    Have a read of this,
    http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/Dynamics.html

It will help explain how named ranges can be used. You already have a set of named ranges defined in the workbook. Not sure they are pointing to the correct cells for your charts though. Once you have corrected the named ranges you then need to update the charts, via the select data dialog, to use those named ranges.
