    Making a spreadsheet user friendly

I have a table of properties for a database I am creating for my work (estate agent).
I want to create a way for others to sdit the spread sheet by using macors etc so that the less computer literate in my office can edit and update this spreadsheet. any ideas?

    Thanks

What do your users need? You can click on any cell in the table & from the Data menu select Form for a a built-in input form
    Hope that helps.

The database is printed out and is left on the desk as a look up reference when on telephone/ speaking to customers. I need to be able to delete rows and edit rows easily. I created a macro to create new properties easily but I can not work out how to do it for editing and deleting.

I can't see why you need a macro to delete an entry

I have 3 buttons that have macros or forms, one is to find an existing entry and insert a line, another is to archive. the third is to add a new item or row. The functionality needed is built into the form that opens. On the form the use of check boxes to activate macros or functions is very user friendly.
Also having things happen when a sheet is modified by using the objects of the sheet is helpful to keep the user interaction to a miimum.
But having a shared Workbook has it's limitations in what you can do with the macros and vb.

It is too big to post and keep the functionality. It is a basic workload tracking tool for my team. When I get home I will be able to get it posted to a site to share it. I will post a link for it later.

Sent you a link by message since I was not sure of posting outside links to files. Let me know if you have any questions.
