    Excel Holiday Spreadsheet

    Hi,

I have a speadsheet which we use as a holiday planner it works as we want but its very very slow and tries to calculate after every entry, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this sheet a little quicker?
    Any help would be welcomed.

    Re: Excel Holiday Spreadsheet

Hi Makef0x and welcome to the forum,

If I had this problem I'd be looking at a pivot table answer. I would add the day each employee would be out to a growing list and let Pivots do all the work. And they are very quick.

See a possible example of what I mean.

BTW - the reason you workbook takes so long is the number and complexity of the formulas in it.
