    Excel colour change formula

    Hi,

In Excel I know you can set up a formula were if a certain string is entered then its colour is changed, what we would like to do is to have a formula wereby when a certain string of text is entered then the text colour for the whole row or column is changed.

For example if you have a list of names, addresses and a licence details we would like it that any user entered who does not have a current license the text in that line would change colour and so be instantly noticeable.

    Is this possible?

We are using Office 2007 on a Windows 7 PC.

    Thanks for your help.

I had a look through these and they only seem to change/highlight a specific cell rather then a row/column.

Do you know of a way to do the row?
