    Vlookup function gives error

    Hi,

    I use Vlookup extensively.
I am trying to use this formula..as below. Gives error

    =VLOOKUP(A3,'[17.3 - Cost Module SS11-2.Clothing+mini.xls]Costing_Online'!$D$2:$M$3619,10,0)

    Thanks

    Sorry.

The formula remains as a text on the cell.

    Kind Regards

That's not really an "error" ;-)

It sounds as though the cell has been formatted as text.

Format it as general then press F2 (edit) and press Enter (confirm) to re-input the formula..
