Graphing dates

Hi

I'm tracking student enrolment numbers via a table and then graphing the results and have a question about the graph.

How do I get the x-axis to disply the actual dates in my table?

For example the initial start point was in Nov 2010 and then the next date I want displayed isn't until 6th June 2011. At the moment the graph is displaying all dates inbetween those two.

Tom,

You should be able to right click on the dates and go to Axis options then find the specified unit interval. Change that to the number of months you want to display. In your case it would be 7 (nov to june).

If this does not work for you, upload some sample data and expected results so we can better understand your issue.

The attachement process keeps timing out but your suggestion didn't work. It's a line graph and I need a point on it for each date in my table. The start date is Nov, then the next date is June and from that point I start measuring on a weekly basis throughout June to August. What's happening now is that its drawing one long line between Nov and June before resuming the weekly points.

I would need to see your graph to better assist you. If you cant upload your spreadsheet could you possibly upload a screen shot of your graph?
