    Pivot Table Formatting

I have a table which lists a name in the first cell and numbers in several succeeding cells. Each number corresponds to a different metric I am measuring. Each name is listed more than once so I wanted to use a pivot table to sum the numbers from each metric and simplify the table.

I can create a pivot table that accomplishes this but am having difficulty formatting it. I put the name in the left column and each metric in the data portion and get the name in the left column of the pivot table and metrics in the second column in descending order. I would like to list each metric in a separate column so formatting remains exactly the same as it was before, just summarized.

Does anyone know how to achieve this formatting rather than the standard pivot table formatting?

    Thanks
