Extra Colums on excel sheets

HI folks,

I am not too sure how long I have been having issues around getting extra columns on my worksheet, there is no problems using excel 2007 / 2010, at home where i am able to get plenty of columns to work with, but the problem starts when I take the file to work, I know that i can get up to 256 lines across, but when i take the file to work it chops the last few columns off, and I get on first sheet up to column HM and second sheet of column FE,

Is there one having the same issue as me and is there any way we can have as many sheet as possible to 256 columns constant without any variations

Hi Dave

i have attached a worksheet, it only happens at work where the software we are running is Microsoft 2003, no later, this only happens on the two sheets with allot of information about an employee absences and leave etc etc.
Mar-Oct and Oct-Mar are the sheets that are affected. As you can see from the work i have done on an overall sheet, the column fe and hm seems to cut off as i am trying to get extra columns to add more data.

It's not a good idea to develop excel workbooks in a version newer than the one it will be run in.

For some reason the columns from 221 to 256 have their width set to 0
