Unhappy Using a DV List to populate a list

I am creating a sheet that will pull information from another sheet based upon a drop-down list.

There are two sheets. "Group" and "Individual"
"Group" contains three columns, "Account", "Rep", "Type".

When I am on the "Individual" sheet, I have a cell with a DV list of all the possible "Rep" options. When I select a "Rep" I would like that sheet to populate the other information.

    Example:
When "Dan" is selected I want all of Dan's accounts and account types to be listed.

I cannot figure this out. Please help. Thanks!

Sounds like you want something like this

Combine that with VLOOKUP to populate your sheet.
    Does that help?

It is possible to do what you need with a bunch of complicated formulas, but given your data layout I would say that AutoFilter is a built-in feature that would meet your needs better than setting up a new worksheet that just points back to the same data on another worksheet.

Any reason that AutoFilter doesn't fit the requirements? See attached for example.

try this, if you got thousands of rows worth of this stuff it might be a little slow....but beautiful array formulas always are

needs to be entered with ctrl + shift + enter

ps you'll see from the index part of this formula i've made some new names for your lists
