Putting a scrollbar on a dropdown box

Hello - I have set up a drop down box in excel 2007 linked to a list that has 409 items in it. When I click the arrow on the drop down box it is only showing about the first 45 items on the list and there is no scroll bar that would allow me to scroll up and down the list. How do I get a scroll bar into a drop down box please?

    Thanks if you can help!

Re: Putting a scrollbar on a dropdown box

Wish I knew - it's one I've copied and pasted from another workbook (that I didn't build). It is not a 'data validation' dropdown box because I know how to create those. If I right click on the dropdown box it offers 'cut/copy/grouping/order' but also ''assign macro" and ''format control". If I click on "format control" then in the control tab it asks for input control which is the list (cells B1-B410), cell link which is the number of the item selected in the list and number of dropdown rows where I've put in 410. Does this help?

Remove the 410 from the dropdown rows and put a smaller number in, such as 40.

That works a treat - thank you very much!!! Now I'll be able to get out of here at a reasonable time today.
