I need to find out the maximum temperature of a thermocouple at a specific time (or step in my case) is met. See example below.

Time…….Step…….Temp1…….Temp2…….Temp3…….Temp4
0720…….1…….…...18.2…….….18.5…….….17.9…….….18.1
0721…….1…….…..22.3…….…...21.5…….…..21.8…….…22.0
0722…….1…….…...26.1…….…...25.8……….25.9…….….26.2
0723…….2…….…...31.2…….…..31.5…….…...32.5………31.9
0724…….2…….…...38.8…….…..37.5…….…..38.5…….…39.0
0725…….2…….…...45.4…….…...44.9…….…...45.1……..45.2
0726…….3…….…...50.4…….…...51.9…….…...50.1……..50.2
0727…….3…….…...65.3…….…...64.5…….…..66.8…….…64.0
0728…….3…….…...66.2…….….65.5…….…….67.9………66.1
0729…….3…….…...65.4…….…...66.9…….…...65.1……..65.2
0730…….3…….…...67.8…….…..66.5…….…..66.5…….…65.0
0731…….3…….…...65.4…….…...68.9…….…...65.1……..66.2
0732…….3…….…...68.4…….…...67.9…….…...65.1……..67.2
0733…….4…….…...50.4…….…...51.9…….…...50.1……..50.2
0734…….4…….…...45.4…….…...44.9…….…...45.1……..45.2
0735…….4…….…...40.2…….…..41.5…….…...42.5………41.9
0736…….5…….…...31.2…….…..31.5…….…...32.5………31.9
0737…….5…….…...22.3…….…...21.5…….…..21.8…….…22.0

1) I need to find out the maximum temp of "Temp1" through "Temp4" at the first minute of step 3. I.e., so once the first "3" is seen in column 2, or B we'll say, the formula would find the max temp at that instance. ans. 51.9

2) Also, I need the max temp at the end of this step. So the formula would recognize the last "3" and give me the max temp. ans. 68.4

3) And....one more formula ( 3 in total). I would like to find the maximum temp of all the thermocouples at the middle of step 3. Since in my example, there are 7 minutes of step 3, the formula would look, say, 3 rows down from the initial step 3, at time 0726 (basically add 3 minutes, or row sequences to the formula in questions 1. ans. 66.9

Bonus) I would like to find the maximum temperature of the whole matrix (In all of step 3, for all thermocouples)

Let's see what you guys have to offer, and I will clarify if need be.

Thanks!
