    Thumbs up Calculation Help In Excel 2007

    Dear All,

    I am working in admin department here in our company we brought a new rule for leave member this is a gulf company the people are going leave and they r returning after long leave so for that we made some calculations systems. I want to implement this calculation on excel, here is the calculation

    s-staff
    1-3 days deduction amount should be 50
    4-7 days deduction amount should be 150
    7-14 days deduction amount should be 300
    like this every seven days 150 should be added till it reaches 180 days

    w-worker
    1-3 days deduction amount should be 50
    4-7 days deduction amount should be 100
    7-14 days deduction amount should be 200
    like this every seven days 100 should be added till it reaches 180 days

    kindly provide me the solution to clear this calculation in excel and how to apply this.

    Create a lookup table, use vlookup

    Creating a lookup table would help, then you could use vlookup to get the required results.
