    Dates and Calculations

    Forum...

I have a driver start time (typically early AM) and a driver end time (typically in the afternoon) recorded into a spreadsheet. I also have an amount of items that have been delivered during these times.

What I want to do is calculate the amount of items delivered per hour.

I can deduct the end time from the start time easily but then trying to use the answer to find the amount of items per hour is proving difficult.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Mike

    Re: Dates and Calculations

If start time is in A2, end time in B2 and number of items delivered in C2 then this formula in D2 will give you items per hour

    =C2/(B2-A2)/24

    format D2 as number
    Audere est facere
