    Changing/Amending Text String In Cell

    Hi,

I have the following text that needs to be changed:

    Scenario 1
    Original Text
    Type-MHH Houston Terminal

    Change To
    MHH Type Houston Terminal

    Scenario 2
    Original Text
    MHH Mall Type Houston

    Change To
    Mall Houston

Is there a formula that I could use to change the text ? The original list is very long and I need a formula to make the change. Is this possible ?

    Appreciate all the help.

I have a cross post here:

    Hi Rahul,

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

Re: Changing/Amending Text String In Cell

    Hi Rahul,

    Thank you for the reply.

The actual list is not in the order as attached. It very random as follows:

    Type-MHH Houston Terminal
    Type-MHH Houston Terminal
    Type-MHH Houston Terminal
    MHH Mall Type Houston
    MHH Mall Type Houston
    Type-MHH Houston Terminal
    MHH Mall Type Houston

Does this mean that I have to enter the formula manually for each row? My apologies for not mentioning this earlier.

Just short your data by "Mall" and "MHH"
then do text to column and paste =concatenate formula.

if you do not want to change the order then insert one column and put numbering.
once you have done with your formula then again short by number.

Can you not use Ctrl F and find all replace all?
