Can't seem to have multiple Excel files open.

I got a new computer and moved my Excel files over.

    Something strange is happening.

There are three Excel files I would like to have open side by side.

I am showing all three icons at the bottom of the screen but as I click from on to another I show a different one but I can't have them all up at the same time. It just changes to another file.

Any idea how I can have them up side by side? I am not sure what changed when I moved this to another computer.

The difference between the two computers is probably related to Windows options rather than anything in Excel. What versions of Windows are you using on each machine?

You can view multiple files within one Excel window by selecting View, Arrange All.

Off the top of my head I don't know how to force Windows to open a new instance of Excel each time you want to open a new file.
