Question Pulling data based off a date entered..

Hello all! I am still learning Excel and would appreciate any help offered on something I am working on. Here is what I am trying to do:

**I want to pull a column of numbers off a second worksheet, and put that info into a column of numbers on my first worksheet based upon a date I entered on the first worksheet.

The first worksheet would have the date in A1, and the numbers would get reported back to F3 through F14.
The second worksheet has 32 columns. The numbers that I need for the 1st for example, would start in the second column at B2 through B13.

**Here's second part of what I am trying to accomplish. IF after I put in the date, and it is a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday then I want it to pull data from different rows on the second worksheet. (same column) So whatever that appropriate column is, instead of pulling data from rows 2 - 13, it would need to pull the data from rows 15 - 26.

Can anyone help me out here? And if I missed anything in trying to explain this, please let me know. Thanks, and much appreciated!

**Edit Test spreadsheet attached. Widget Totals will be entered manually in Coulmns 2 - 4 on first worksheet.

Re: Pulling data based off a date entered..

Is it possible to do a VLookup via a date? ie: If the cell is formated as a date, and is Feb/7/2011 for example.. Can I do a VLookup using 7?

I could be way off on what to use here (vlookup or something else), Any advice would be appreciated!
