I am working on a spread sheet were I require a cells date to turn Red if the date is within 5 days of today's date and also based on text within another cell, Is this possible?

i think this is what you want...put this in the conditional formatting for cell F3 and drag down

I can't download your example for some reason, but do you need the cell to turn red if the date is >5 days ago AND or OR certain text is in another cell?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now, the above solution looks as if it'll work.

Highlight Cell "E3"
Edit/Copy
Select the remaining cells in Column E to have the same formatting
Edit/Paste Special/tick Formats & Transpose/OK

Hi,
I used conditional formatting to do my example sheet. If you want to expand the range, I'd go into Conditional formatting and expand the range. To do this click on Conditional Formatting and then Manage Rules. If you don't see any rules click the dropdown to show on This Worksheet. Study this rule and change the Applies To range. If you need to use the rule in a different place, or other conditons on your sheet then see how this example works and apply it to your problem.
