Line Graph in Excel 2007

Hi


I need to make a line graph for someone at work. Mostly i don't have any problems with it, but this one is a little bit more difficult.

What I need

On the vertical line i need 3 categories (1, 2, 3) with each 7 subcategories (w, k, m, wk, wm, km, wkm). On the horizontal line i need dates. (p.e. 2/2/2011 until 5/2/2011).

I added a drawing to make sure you can understand what i mean. (click on "drawing")

Each date there can only be used 1 subcategory.

Can someone tell me how i can make this line chart?

I've attached a .xls file with the drawing of how I want my line chart.

I have absolutely no idea how to create a good table for this to outcome this line chart..


Can someone provide me with a .xls file that can do it?

Thanks Andy, but that looks like chinese to me..

I kinda get it to add numeric values to my 1w, 1k, 1m, etc.. but it doesn't seem to work out when i want to create the line graph..

Can someone provide me a custom file with the table and linechart?

I'd be very thankful!

I have attached what I have at this moment.

The line graph is perfect, just the numbers 1 to 18 need to be switched with the labels on the axis..

So instead of the 1 - 18 on the vertical axis, it has to be 1w, 1k, 1m, ... on it.
