Todays Date in Cell

Hi All,

Just a quick question, if on a spreadsheet in for example Cel D1 I wanted todays date, and everytime I open that spreadsheet I want D1 to automatically update to that days date, how would I do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

You'd need a workbook_open event and say something like:

Sheets("Sheet1").Range("D1").Value = Today()

In D1

=TODAY()

You might have to format the cell Date dd/mm/yyyy, or to suit, depending on what it was previously formatted, if anything.
