How to add characters to multiple cells or a column

Hi,

Hope everyone is going well today. I'm looking to add a +(plus sign) to the beginning of the data in each cell and retain the data that is still in the cell. I have a column of a few hundred cells that I need to do this to. I've seen it done before but can't remember how.

Any help would be great. I'm a noob when it comes to Excel. If there's a link to a walkthrough on how to do this, please post it.

=concatenate(g1,h1)

for eg in cell g1 there is a + and in h1 is 111. In E1 type =concatenate(g1,h1) this will give you +111 then you can copy and paste value
