    Please,

I am working on a project but I can't get some of the numbers to turn red and to show the negative sign when its cost.

As you will see I have done it with others but the yellow highlighted numbers just wont change!

    Can you please help?

    Thanks

Re: Can't make numebers (-) or red

I am not sure what you are asking for. I opened the workbook, changed cell G4 to -100 and all the highlighed cells on row 9 turned red...

    Would you please clarify

Thanks for answering. I will try to be clearer.

Line nine, title "Total Costo Directo" y select all numbers on that line, right click and pic format. I drag down to #,##0_;(rojo)-#,##0 and nothing happens.

Same with line 15 and 27.

    I have reuploded the sheet

    THANKS!

The numbers highlighted in Yellow add up to be positive numbers....you can make them negative by placing a (-) minus sign in front of one of the numbers that they are totaling to produce a negative number.

Try subtracting the smaller number from the larger number in your formulas....

    ie. 8000 minus zero = 8000,

    but zero minus 8000 = -8000
