flag/marker for hidden fields

I would like to know if there is any way to add a flag/marker to show that I have hidden columns?

I need this because i will have a spreadsheet with data from different years. Every year will use approx. 10 columns. I want to be able to hide them when they are not used, but I would like to be able to quickly find the hidden fields for a certain year. That is why it would be good with some kind of marker to show the hidden fields.

Anyone who has a solution to this problem?
