    Combining Data

I need help in transposing data quickly in excell. The attached spreadhseet shows multiple customers (some listed more than once but ech with specific data). The second tab shows how I would like the data to be presented. Is there a macro or formula that can help with this without having to copy and transpose each section? Please not that the data set might be larger than this so any macro or formula would need to encompass the entire workbook.

Thanks so much for your help.

    Re: Combining Data

Correct to your first comment. In fact the 3 additional columns might need to expand to 8 for each record. The additional colums are inserted to make room for the data on the first page. ABC Co. has 4 "records" and I want to combine them into 1 record. The second company only has two records, so some of the additional columns on the second tab would not be populated for XYZ Co. Does that help?

Thanks, that clarifies what would have probably been my next question to some degree.

The way you are trying to structure your sheet, might prove to be a bit dodgy. What will be the max number of columns you will ever need to add to these groups?

    Re: Combining Data

Having looked further into this, I notice that you only ask for one column for both "NAICS" & "NC" in your final table, yet both seem to have differing data for each "Name" what do you need done with these columns? Should "Name"/customers be further split by "NC"?

Is it also possible that each "Name"/customer might have more than one "Officer"?
