Time spanning midnight ---- as minutes, not hh:mm

I'm working on a production model - how much time someone took to perform some tasks. I've done my due-diligence - searching for time that spans midnight, but it isn't helping for my application.

    spreadsheet attached.

I've got some folks that work day shift - (end time minus start time, * 1440) works great.

BUT - night shift = start time of 23:13, end time of 00:54 - I can't get there.

    Help?
