    Hello,

data samples lose their spacing if you post them directly in the thread. Please attach an Excel file and point out where you would want the formula to go. Some sample results would help, too, since the description above is not quite clear.

    cheers

    Re: if (and ( countif.......question

hello i have attached a workbook.

i have compliled both the different workbooks for this example togther.

there are two tabs (US Data and Wash-Phil).

US Tab is the field in yellow (highlighted) that i need to get

Wash-Phil is the sheet sent from the branches we have so i need to be able to pull the column show in red, in that worksheet.

i tried using my formula above, but nothing, please help!

    Hello,

can you please match your data sample to your initial description of the issue? Otherwise, how are we supposed to know what you want to achieve.
    -if range (C18:C22) = Atlanta
C18:C22 is empty in both sheets of your file attachment. Atlanta does not feature anywhere in the file.

Please understand that we do no know your data as well as you do. If you supply a data sample, please mock up the expected results and explain the logic that leads to these results.

It seems to me that your setup has more than just two sheets. To avoid further complications and follow-up questions, please present the whole picture. If there is Washington-Philadelphia, and, apparently Atlanta-Charleston, are we talking different sheets? Different workbooks? The formula you quote in the initial question looks like we're dealing with different workbooks.

    Please provide more detail.

    cheers,

    Re: if (and ( countif.......question

    Hello,

I apologize for that. I gave atlanta in my example and the range was set to what it is in my workbook, however for the sake for not having unecessary data on the sample workbook (attached), i used a different city (wash-phil) and highlighted in red (where i need data to be extracted from).

the US(Data) worksheet, the column in yellow is where I want to data to show from the wash-phil worksheet.

again, my apologies as I made references to different columns, but would you be able to assist me with how i can imply a formula so I can get the data for the respective city for "# of reps in ramp-up"

    Thank you.
