Need help with real dimensions in excel

I need to print out something that is 2 1/2" by 3 1/2".


I found something online that said 96 pixels = 1 inch.

So I figured 240 x 336 pixels should meet my above requirements. I changed the margins all to 0, which allowed me to get 6 of these on a page. When I printed them out, they were smaller than 2.5" by 3.5". I then changed the margins back to "narrow" which allowed 4 to a sheet but they printed out the same.

Can anyone help me get the dimensions I need?

I guess this could be deleted. I played with it and printed numerous times (which I didn't want to do) until I got them to line up.
