Arrow Help on Excel Formula to AutoFill Details

    Hi guys,

I would need some help regarding formula use in excel. I have attached my excel file in the thread, please do have a look.

Inside Sheet 1 I have a list of details which is not sorted. I do not wish to sort my data and leave it as per it is.

Next in Sheet 2, I have a table which is sort of a Schedule view in landscape. Its arranged according to the date/day. There are 2 zones divided by AM / PM. AM on the Top and PM on the bottom after the line.

May i know how can i code a formula to automatically fill in the the Name and Location in sheet 2, which is sorted according to the Date and Time where there are 2 zones.

I hope you guys can help me out on this. Thanks in Advance. I hope there isnt a need for VBA code. Thanks

    Cheers!!

    Hi,
Did you have a GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) anywhere in your sheet? See
    http://www.exceltip.com/st/Convertin...other/834.html
    Of http://www.tushar-mehta.com/excel/timezone.htm

I think the above two sites will help with your problem.

So do i have to change my timing based on GMT?

Actually the timing is not an issue based on the locations. Its just a rough idea. I can edit the timing accordingly. But the problem im facing is how can i display my data accordingly in that 2nd sheet using formula thats based on the Date and Time.

If I understand your problem, you do need to convert all to GMT.
Althought - I may not be in tuned with what your are trying to accomplish.

Ya thats why i gave another column for AM and PM so its easier to distinguish better based on the timing.

Thanks anyway for your kind input
