    Conditional Formatting for dates

    Happy New Year to all.

    Thanks to all that help.
    I have a spreadsheet tracking warranty documentation. Please see attachment. I would like the cells in column G to be blue if the date is over 45 days and column J is blank.

    Column G has the over 45 day portion currently formatted.

    Any help or directions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Conditional Formatting for dates

    Try revising conditional formula to:

    =AND(DATEDIF(G7,TODAY(),"D")>=45,J7="")

    Note you have a space in J7 of your sample, you should delete it... and others if they exist in column J....
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
