I've used the Solver add-in that comes with Excel both on Windows in various Excel editions, and on a Mac using Excel 2004. I have the impression that there are fewer restrictions on the Mac version - is this accurate? It seems I am able to use more constraints in the Mac version than the PC versions. Do anyone else have similar experiences?
