Sorting License Plate Data

Hi guys:
What I have is license plate data for a garage for 8 hours. The data collection was done at the end of every hour for 8 hours. So effectively the data would look something like this

Spot No. 9AM 10AM 11AM
1 WEX WEX 222
2 123 123 123
3 E 456 ERT

So what Iam trying to figure out is the number of vehicles at the end of each hour occupying the same spot (turnover). So for this case it would be:
No of vehicles at the end
Spot No. 1hr 2nd hr 3rd hr
1 1 1
2 1
3 3

Iam not sure what approach I need to take. Thanks for any help!

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
