(not really solved... but enough...)Format Painter-ish for graphs?

Is there any way to copy the formatting of graphs, or setting a default format which all new graphs will be created around?

My problem: I have a client report I need 50 graphs on, and I want to change the color of the lines, remove the horizontal gridlines, and move the legend to the top. And I don't want to do it 50 times :/

P.S. the F4 trick does not work.

I don't know of any built-in way to do this. I did something similar by just copying a graph, and then changing the data series.

It could also be done with a macro. You can select a graph, then record a macro do all the formatting stuff you want to do it. I imagine you would then have to edit the macro to operate on the active chart rather than the specific one you selected

Thanks. I'll mark this solved, but if anyone has any extra input I'd love to hear it!

I can help with a macro, if you want to go that route. If you record a macro with the formatting you want to apply I can edit it to make it the general case.
